One word.
One full stop.
The lockup is a two-family contrast: Euclid Flex Light on top, Fraunces Black below. The i-tittle and trailing full stop are the only places the accent appears.
Stacked. Two voices. One accent dot.
Euclid Flex Light · 300 · 34% of cap-height · grey #6B6B6B
Fraunces Black · 900 · opsz 144 · ink #0B1018
Clay #CC6633 · always · never both removed, never neither
"better" sits 16% below the bot baseline · padding-left 0.04em
The wordmark inverts. The accent does not.
Top voice softens to rgba(240,239,235,0.55). Bottom voice goes paper. The accent stays clay. One clay across paper and ink. The dark sibling --br-clay-warm is reserved for hover states only.
When the lockup can’t be used, write BetterReviews.
Cased: Better + Reviews. Always one word, two capitals, no full stop, no space. Set in Fraunces Semibold at body weight, with the “Reviews” half in Terracotta. The lowercase “betterreviews.” form is never permitted, including in top bars, email signatures, social bios, schema markup, or anywhere else.
Reserved for the favicon, the OG card, and nowhere else.
Ink ground, paper "r", clay tittle dot.
Fraunces Black · letter-spacing -0.12em.
Only "r" and the full stop. Never "br", never "BR".
A frame as wide as the dot.
Minimum clear space on all four sides equals the height of the accent full stop. Anything closer crowds the optical centre.
Below these, switch to the monogram.
Six things never to do.
Don't put the lockup on a gradient. The only legal grounds are paper, ink, and peacock.
Don't italicise. The italic axis is not loaded for a reason.
Don't recolour the whole bottom voice in clay. Only the i-tittle and stop are clay.
Don't smallcap "better". The top voice is lowercase, light, 34% size. Period.
Don't drop the accent. Without clay, it is not the BetterReviews wordmark.
Don't tagline the lockup. The wordmark stands alone.
